1. Promote early intervention and holistic management of Neuro Developmental Disorders (NDDs). 

2. Access and develop effective, indigenous assessments/intervention tools/techniques for therapy and prevention with cultural sensitivity and regional focus.

3. To emphasize environmental influences on child health and Neurodevelopment and suggest regionally appropriate remedial measures 

4. Advocacy with government for policy planning & implementation for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of NDDs due to pre, peri and post natal health & environmental hazards

5. To investigate the role of epigenetics and genetics  for optimal neurodevelopment 

6. To identify role of vaccines in prevention of NDDs

• To provide platform for affiliation and cooperation among developmental pediatrics and other child development  bodies in the region

• To have association with international organizations/bodies/agencies working for child development and rehabilitation

• To be the resource platform for providing directory of child development experts in the region

• Interesting case presentation through online seminars on SANBEPA platform

• To conduct annual conference of SANBEPA in association with the national conference of the participating country 

• To provide networking opportunities and starting of fellowship programs and facilitating student exchange programs

• To enhance the skills, capacity and capability of individuals working in the field by conducting appropriate workshops, trainings, certification & diploma courses.
